Join Midstate Radiology Associates (MRA) as a Radiology Scheduling Agent in Wallingford, CT. Multiple full-time positions are available due to growth. This is an on-site role.
Pay
Starting pay for this position is between $20.00 and $25.00 per hour. A $2,500.00 sign-on bonus will be offered to well-qualified candidates. Advancement opportunity to Radiology Scheduling Agent II, including a pay increase, after six months.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (primary shift)
- Alternative shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 40 scheduled hours per week
Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls from offices and patients requesting to schedule radiology or MRI exams.
- Make outbound calls to patients and offices to schedule radiology and MRI exams.
- Proficiently schedule patients for multiple imaging modalities (X-Ray, DEXA, Fluoroscopy, CAT Scan, Ultrasound, Mammography) across all MRA service locations following established protocols, workflows, and scripting.
- Maintain certified proficiency in scheduling for all exam types.
- Keep training and reference materials up to date; engage in continuous learning and improvement.
- Strive to meet established departmental goals and achieve desired call-center metrics.
- Meet or exceed individual performance criteria.

- Perform other duties as assigned based on the changing needs of the organization.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working in a call center environment preferred.
- Experience providing healthcare-related customer service and scheduling preferred.
- Experience being accountable for call-center metrics (answer time, average handle time, return to queue, etc.) preferred.

Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
