About the role
The UC Davis School of Medicine, Department of Radiology, seeks a Nuclear Medicine Imaging position in the In Residence, Clinical "X" Series, or Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series, at Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank (commensurate with experience and credentials).
Responsibilities
- Engage in teaching, independent research and creative work
- Demonstrate professional competence and activity
- Provide University and public service
- Involvement in all diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in nuclear medicine
- Participation in weeknight and weekend call in a rotation with other nuclear medicine division members
- Service hours may require routine coverage till midnight
Requirements
- Nuclear Medicine equipment includes three PET/CTs, including the EXPLORER Total-Body scanner, and three SPECT-CT cameras
- Two DEXA machines, a thyroid probe, and an intra-operative probe for positron emitters are available
- Two medical cyclotrons and a state-of-the-art GMP-grade radiochemistry facility are on site
Qualifications
- Expertise in all aspects of Nuclear Medicine is essential
- For In Residence Series: Teaching, independent research and creative work, demonstrating professional competence and activity, and providing University and public service are expected
- For Professor of Clinical "X" Series: Teaching, research and creative work, and University/public service are expected
- For Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series: Teaching, professional competence and activity, scholarly or creative activities, and University/public service are expected
Benefits
- Salary range: $425,000 - $525,000
- Call pay averaging $18,000 to $26,000 annually (based on division)
- An annual Z bonus of up to $20,000
- Annual allotment for licenses and conferences for professional development
- A one-time relocation allotment of $20,000 upon hire (based on eligibility criteria)

The salary range for this position is $425,000-$525,000.
