Nuclear Medicine Radiologist
About the role
Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Radiologist to join their practice. The ideal candidate should have expertise in another area of practice within radiology in addition to Nuclear Medicine, and be seeking an advanced state of the art clinical practice with opportunities for research and education.
Responsibilities
The position will include participation in the clinical and research Nuclear Medicine practice, including general nuclear medicine, a full spectrum of radiopharmaceutical therapies, cardiac, oncologic and neurologic SPECT/CT, PET/CT and PET/MR practice. The clinical practice conducts nearly 45,000 Nuclear Medicine exams per year with more than 26,000 PET/CT examinations performed. The therapy practice has earned the SNMMI Comprehensive Radiopharmaceutical Center of Excellence designation. The clinical practice is supported by a dedicated research PET/CT and small animal imaging facility.
Qualifications
- Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Radiology.
- Candidates must have advanced fellowship training in Nuclear Medicine and be ABR CAQ certified or CAQ-eligible or ABNM certified.
Pay
The minimum starting salary for Medical specialties may range from $208,000 to $708,168. This range reflects full-time total base compensation prior to consideration of additional experience or duties. Pay for the selected candidate will vary based on specialty, experience, FTE, internal equity, or external market data.
