About the role

MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center is seeking a Radiation Therapist, Trainee, or Intern. Relocation is available.

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiation therapy treatment to patients in accordance with physician’s prescription
• Complete treatment preparation including simulation, immobilization, and block fabrication
• Care for patients receiving radiation therapy treatments
• Assure proper function of treatment equipment
• Provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of patients

Requirements

• Registered Radiation Therapist or registry eligibility required
• Obtain and maintain a State of Iowa Permit To Practice requiring 24 CEUs in a 2-year period
• Current Iowa permit to practice in Radiation Therapy
• Previous experience preferred

Qualifications
