About the role
MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center is seeking a Radiation Therapist, Trainee, or Intern. Relocation is available.
Responsibilities
- Deliver radiation therapy treatment to patients in accordance with physician’s prescription
- Complete treatment preparation including simulation, immobilization, and block fabrication
- Care for patients receiving radiation therapy treatments
- Assure proper function of treatment equipment
- Provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of patients
Requirements
- Registered Radiation Therapist or registry eligibility required
- Obtain and maintain a State of Iowa Permit To Practice requiring 24 CEUs in a 2-year period
- Current Iowa permit to practice in Radiation Therapy
- Previous experience preferred
