Radiation Oncology Scheduling Coordinator - Northstar Lodge

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the scheduling of appointments and surgical procedures accurately, recognizing the importance and relationship to patient care
• Verifies insurance benefits
• Obtains insurance pre-certification and authorization as required
• Captures and schedules patient appointments to include pre-op, pre-admit and post-op appointments
• Schedules all meetings for provider, including attorney and vendor meetings
• Maintains, coordinates and manipulates provider clinic schedule to accommodate surgical cases, CME, vacation, court appearance, attorney depositions and all other meetings for the provider, using both Epic and MS Outlook programs

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Two (2) years of clerical experience in a medical environment (preferred)

Pay and Benefits Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off.

The pay scale is $22.34 - $32.14 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.

If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
