Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming electric motors, pumps, generators, and related equipment
- Assess repair requirements and develop labor and material estimates
- Prepare and submit customer quotations
- Coordinate with technicians, purchasing, and production teams
- Follow up on quotes and respond to customer inquiries
- Monitor job costs and update estimates as needed
- Maintain accurate records of quotes, repair orders, and completed projects
- Support purchasing and invoice verification activities
- Ensure pricing aligns with company profitability goals and customer requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or associate degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in estimating, service coordination, or industrial service administration
- Experience with motor repair, rotating equipment, or industrial maintenance environments preferred
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/job-tracking software
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
