About the role
The Quick Lube Service Advisor (QLSA) creates lasting impressions and retains guests by using interpersonal skills and knowledge of products and services. This fully customer-facing role involves greeting customers, understanding their vehicle maintenance needs, managing appointments, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience. No previous automotive supervisory or mechanical experience is required, but the representative must be knowledgeable about automotive services and possess strong communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and promptly, assisting them with their service needs.
- Provide information about quick lube services, pricing, and estimated wait times.
- Communicate with customers to understand their needs, explain services, provide estimates, and ensure satisfaction.
- Build trust and win repeat, loyal customers.
- Present oil change options and additional services based on manufacturer recommendations and DVI documentation.
- Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate services based on vehicle condition, DVI results, and maintenance history.
- Connect referrals for conversion to full-service repairs in adjoined/sister service-forward & tire-forward stores.
- Keep customers informed about their service status, additional maintenance needs, and completion time.
- Prepare and present service invoices, process payments, and handle billing inquiries or disputes.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, services performed, and follow-up actions.
- Communicate effectively with lube technicians to relay customer requests and ensure timely service delivery.
- Inform customers about current promotions, discounts, and loyalty programs.
- Ensure the customer waiting area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies and informational materials.
- Address and resolve customer or team member issues promptly and effectively.
- Ensure the quick lube area is kept clean, organized, and safe at all times; adhere to all safety regulations.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
Requirements
- Professional appearance and ability to work in a process-driven environment.
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work a minimum of five days, including weekends.

Working Conditions
Work is primarily performed in a service garage setting with exposure to various weather conditions, noise, and vehicle exhaust. This is a full-time position with potential for weekend and evening shifts.
Pay
Starting at $30,000/year to $40,000/year plus bonus.
