About the role
The Lytle Park Hotel is a distinguished property within the Pyramid Hotel Group, Autograph Collection, offering a unique blend of classic hospitality and modern amenities. As part of this esteemed group, we seek a dedicated and enthusiastic hospitality professional to join our team as an At Your Service Agent.
Responsibilities
- Operate the Hotel switchboard to connect interoffice and house calls.
- Answer, screen, and route outside and in-house calls efficiently, adhering to Five Star Service Standards.
- Keep records of guest requests and ensure they are completed.
- Operate the radio system to relay in-house messages and information.
- Place welcome calls to guests and understand and react to emergency situations and procedures.
- Utilize PBX and front office computer systems.
- Coordinate emergency communications to fire and emergency response units.
- Accept all messages for in-house, expected arrival, and function guests and ensure timely distribution.
- Review daily listings of upcoming hotel events.
- Develop general hotel operational background to provide information to guests.
- Report telephone-related problems to the Front Office Manager.
- Aid guests with dialing instructions as requested.
- Accept time and charges from outside operators and ensure timely posting to guests' accounts.
- Complete competitive surveys on a daily basis.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
Requirements
We are seeking a committed and passionate hospitality professional with a strong customer service orientation. Experience in a similar role is preferred but not required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. Proficiency with PBX systems and basic computer skills are also necessary.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in a hotel setting or customer service is beneficial but not mandatory. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently are key requirements.

$17.00 - $20.40 per hour.
