About the role

The Office of the Queens County District Attorney is seeking Law Student interns for a Spring Legal Internship from January to April 2027. This is an unpaid, part-time internship open to current Law Students.

Responsibilities

  • Researching and writing assignments for pending cases
  • Motion and discovery practice
  • Aiding with search warrant applications
  • Observing civilian and police interviews, and proffers
  • Attending court appearances pursuant to the student practice order
  • Visiting crime scenes
  • Participating in community outreach with the Community Partnerships Division (voluntary)
  • Attending divisional and office-wide legal training sessions
