Quality Team Lead- 1st Shift
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily quality activities to align with production requirements
- Assign tasks and manage quality team members workload to meet schedule requirements, maximize productivity, and provide on-the-job training with a focus on fostering a positive team environment that promotes collaboration
- Provide feedback as needed to both team members and production to ensure adequate understanding of quality standards and how to recognize unacceptable product
- Lead by example by inspecting products and working with other departments to ensure responsive and comprehensive support for production
- Operate all equipment as assigned, following standard operating procedures and ensuring quality standards are met
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, conduct safety inspections, address potential hazards, ensure proper PPE is used, and maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Have strong attention to detail to inspect windows and equipment for quality and any defects
- Actively contribute and effectively communicate to the team
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Preferred experience of 2-3 years in a manufacturing / production environment as a Lead
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
- Thorough understanding of production processes, machine operations, and quality control standards
- Strong attention detail and willingness to work independently or as part of a team and contribute to all areas of operations
- Clear communication to all team members and able to read / comprehend English language (Fully Bi-lingual in Spanish and English is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects
- Basic math and measurement skills

- Physical fitness to include movements, positioning, remaining stationary which include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, climbing, pushing/pulling, forward bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, squatting, crawling, postural balancing, manipulating, trunk rotation, handling, gripping, and talking (hearing)
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs. at any given time
- Work in different temperature-controlled environments
