Quality Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enforce quality systems, procedures, inspection standards, and process controls in compliance with IATF 16949, CQI-12, and customer requirements
• Support production, lead problem-solving efforts, and drive continuous improvement across all quality systems and processes
• Communicate maintenance concerns, equipment issues, or safety hazards to supervisors
• Prepare and present quality reports, audit results, and customer metrics
• Load and unload production lines according to the production schedule
• Follow all safety procedures and work efficiently
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery
• Work collaboratively with team members to support production and facility operations
• Properly hang parts and ensure racks are spaced and loaded per job instructions
• Package finished goods to meet customer specifications, including accurate counts and final inspection
• Use process books, visual standards, and basic testing equipment to support quality
• Manage PPAP submissions, capability studies, first-piece approvals, and product qualification activities
• Prepare parts for processing (masking, wiping, etc.) as required
• Monitor product quality throughout the process, including incoming materials, in-process inspections, final inspections, testing, and shipment release
• Review and analyze quality data to identify trends and drive process improvements
• Support and lead continuous improvement activities, including audits, quality alerts, and defect reduction initiatives
• Coordinate customer, registrar, and supplier audits, as well as customer visits and new product launches
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols, including Lockout/Tagout
• Work collaboratively with team members to support production and facility operations

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform repetitive bending, twisting, and lifting
• Ability to stand for an entire shift
• Ability to communicate any issues with quality, packaging, or instructions to supervisors
