About the role
Fills bottles with products, labels the bottles, and prepares the finished product for delivery to the Product Delivery department. Great starting pay of $15.00 per hour with a $1.00 shift differential. Longevity bonuses ranging from $5000 after 5 years to $15,000 after 15 years are also offered. Company profit sharing and free company products are additional benefits.
Responsibilities
- Retrieves production components and sterilizes tables and equipment.
- Codes date individual bottles.
- Fills bottles using filling machinery or manual process.
- Caps bottles manually or using various machines.
- Labels specified products in the correct location.
- Fills totes and loads pallets.
- Washes equipment, sweeps, mops floors, empties garbage, and wipes down workstations.
- Supports equipment changeovers and setups.
- Inspects quality of own work for cleanliness, label placement, lids tightness, correct batch numbers, etc.
- Assists in training other associates.
- Monitors quality by wiping excess product, checking labels, counting boxes, stacking pallets, and verifying label placement.
- Completes personal reports by recording information related to performance, batch sheets, cleaning logs, labeling, amounts, OTC product forms, component returns sheet to warehouse, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned or needed.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 65 lbs. consistently for eight hours.
- Ability to operate mechanical equipment.
- Standing and walking for duration of 8-hour shift.
- Pulling, stretching, bending, and lifting for duration of shift.
- Ability to organize and coordinate projects.
- Manual dexterity for such duties as collating, sorting, filling, toting, etc.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math skills.
- Good math comprehension skills to solve mathematical problems and complete assigned paperwork.
- Ability to perform essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy.
- Ability to perform overtime as needed.
- Ability to climb stairs.
