About the role

The Manufacturing Specialist - Test Technician performs routine production tasks on the production floor, including repetitive dimensional, electrical, or mechanical test and inspection procedures, or visually checking piece parts, units, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies. This position may also involve operating selective solder or wave solder machines.

Responsibilities

  • Run functional tests and log outcomes
  • Inspect incoming materials
  • Perform physical tests on materials
  • Reference blueprints, interpret dimensioning, and review inspection results
  • Complete paperwork and documentation
  • Enter and extract data in computer systems
  • Perform printed circuit insertions and other manual assembly tasks
  • Prepare printed circuit boards and electronic components
  • Use simple machines and hand tools to accomplish tasks
  • Learn and conform to industry standards for solder connections
  • Set up work stations and machines using descriptive and instructional materials
  • Follow instructions explicitly to complete assigned operations
  • Keep work area neat and organized
  • Actively promote safety and accident prevention
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • This position reports to work onsite—this is not a remote position
  • Must be ITAR compliant (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer navigation skills
  • Able to lift 40 pounds with or without accommodation
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend spoken work instructions in English
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Pay

$16–18 per hour

Schedule

1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:00 PM. Overtime may be expected on Fridays.
