Production Operator - Evening Shift (Mon - Fri 3pm-11:30pm)

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team on the production line, reporting to the Team Leader.
• Work flexibly and assist with other related activities as needed.
• Maintain the work area in a safe and tidy condition.
• Monitor processes, perform measurements, and set equipment controls to ensure quality products.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), solve production process problems, and report issues to others.
• Monitor equipment operation daily, perform basic troubleshooting, and notify the Team Leader and Maintenance when necessary.
• Document production and processes by completing production log sheets, recording raw materials, and calculating material usage.
• Understand customer and product requirements, adjust processes accordingly, and comply with environmental regulations.
• Operate and assist in repairs to equipment and perform simple maintenance tasks.
• Participate in equipment Preventive Maintenance Program (PM) and project installations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2-5 years working in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working in a team
• Able to work logically, organized, and safely using tools and equipment
• Able to work effectively, efficiently, and safely to schedules and deadlines
• Chemical manufacturing experience desired
• Leverage Lean Manufacturing principles, including 5S, desired
• Familiarity with SAP S4 Hana or equivalent ERP system beneficial
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure
• Computer literate - Experience using MS Office; Excel, Word & Outlook
• Basic mathematics and accurate data entry skills
• Forklift truck license desired
• Boiler license desired
