Quality Inspection/Final Test II (Nights/Luna)

About the role

Location: Ironton, Ohio. Shift: 6 p.m.–6 a.m. with a flexible WIN shift pattern (4 days on → 3 days off → 3 days on → 4 days off; only 7 workdays in a 14‑day period; multiple extended breaks each month; predictable schedule for better work‑life balance). The role performs functional testing of completed products, verifying conformance to specified requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing of completed products.
• Verify conformance to all specified requirements.
• Conduct physical and functional inspection of electrical components.
• Operate test bays/stations and associated equipment.
• Troubleshoot and/or repair faulty components.
• Assess product evaluation against NEC and UL/CSA standards.
• Review order write‑ups, operate components, ensure product quality.
• Work with other areas to ensure product quality.
• Verify units meet agency approvals.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
• Use basic hand tools (ratchets, wrenches, air tools, pliers, wire stripper, torque tools, crimping tools).
• Use multi‑meters, hipot‑tester, leak check equipment, computer, refrigeration manifold gauges.

Skills

• Proficiency with hand tools, multi‑meters, hipot‑tester, leak check equipment, computers, refrigeration manifold gauges.
• Ability to read and interpret order write‑ups and test procedures.
• Knowledge of NEC and UL/CSA standards.
