Quality Inspection/Final Test II (Days/Solar)

Location: Ironton, Ohio. Shift: Solar 6 a‑m – 6 p m with a flexible WIN pattern (4 days on → 3 days off → 3 days on → 4 days off; 7 workdays in a 14‑day period; multiple extended breaks each month; predictable schedule).

About the role

The position performs functional testing of completed products and verifies conformance to all specified requirements.

Responsibilities

• Physical and functional inspection of electrical components.
• Operate test bays/stations and associated equipment; troubleshoot and repair faulty components.
• Assess product evaluation against NEC and UL/CSA standards.
• Review order write‑ups, operate components, and ensure product quality.
• Collaborate with other areas to verify units meet agency approvals.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Tools and equipment used

• Basic hand tools: ratchets, wrenches, air tools, pliers, wire stripper, torque tools, crimping tools.
• Multi‑meters, hipot testers, leak‑check equipment.
• Computer systems.
• Refrigeration manifold gauges.
