Quality Inspection/Final Test II

About the role

Position will perform functional testing of completed products. The position will be responsible for verifying conformance to all specified requirements. Position must assess product evaluation against NEC and UL/CSA standards.

Responsibilities

• Physical inspection and functional inspection of electrical components
• Operation of test bays/stations and associated equipment
• Troubleshooting and/or repairing faulty components
• Review order write ups
• Operate components
• Ensure product quality
• Work with other areas to ensure product quality
• Verify units to meet agency approvals
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• Uses basic hand tools such as ratchets, wrenches, air tools, pliers, wire stripper, torque tools, crimping tools
• Uses multi-meters
• Uses hypot-tester
• Uses leak check equipment
• Uses computer
• Uses refrigeration manifold gauges
