Responsibilities
- Conduct and document pre- and post-pour inspections of product
- Ensure all products meet or exceed ASTM and DOT specs
- Inspect and stamp product according to DOT standards prior to shipment
- Maintain all plant and personal certifications through ACPA, NPCA, and multiple DOTs
- Perform daily tests to ensure quality in product (cylinder breaks, pre-pour/post-pour, wire check, etc.)
- Supervise, lead and mentor a group of Quality Control Technicians throughout the region
- Test and document fresh and hardened concrete in accordance with industry standards
Requirements
- Ability to keep and maintain all required documentation
- Crane certified
- Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Forklift certified
- Work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including extreme hot temperatures
- Work near moving machinery and equipment—could include electrical hazards
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or tech certificate required
- Must have and maintain ACI Field Tech and ACI Strength Tech certifications
- Must acquire and maintain multiple state DOT certifications
