Responsibilities

• Conduct and document pre- and post-pour inspections of product
• Ensure all products meet or exceed ASTM and DOT specs
• Inspect and stamp product according to DOT standards prior to shipment
• Maintain all plant and personal certifications through ACPA, NPCA, and multiple DOTs
• Perform daily tests to ensure quality in product (cylinder breaks, pre-pour/post-pour, wire check, etc.)
• Supervise, lead and mentor a group of Quality Control Technicians throughout the region
• Test and document fresh and hardened concrete in accordance with industry standards

Requirements

• Ability to keep and maintain all required documentation
• Crane certified
• Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Forklift certified
• Work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including extreme hot temperatures
• Work near moving machinery and equipment—could include electrical hazards

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or tech certificate required
• Must have and maintain ACI Field Tech and ACI Strength Tech certifications
• Must acquire and maintain multiple state DOT certifications
