Quality Control Technician

Responsibilities

• Completes profiles on production finished materials and product purchases and shipments per Company standards.
• Serves as liaison between the plant and Central Lab with respect to product quality.
• Obtain, package, and ship samples for testing to Central Lab.
• Submit test results to Supervisor, General Manager, Plant Manager and Sales Manager.
• Perform quality analyses on finished products.
• Maintain lab, materials, and work area in clean condition.
• Maintain safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules & regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A High School diploma or GED required.
• One year of prior laboratory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Work well with others in a team, management, and regulatory environment.
• Highly organized; superior time management skills.
• Exceptional communication skills both written and oral.
• Safety conscience; detail oriented; able to multi-task.
• Good computer and math skills.
• Basic chemistry knowledge helpful.
