Job Overview
As a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges and micrometers.
- Discard or reject products, materials or equipment not meeting specifications.
- Recommend necessary corrective actions, based on inspection results.
- Complete documentation needed to support testing procedures, including data capture forms, equipment logbooks, or inventory forms.
- Identify quality problems and recommend solutions.
- Participate in internal assessment and audits as required.
- Prepare and review required method transfer documentation including technical transfer protocols (PPAP submissions).
- Perform visual inspections of finished products.
- Monitor testing procedures to ensure that all tests are performed according to established item specifications, standard test methods, or protocol.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and write English.
- Quality Control experience a must, at least 2 years preferred.
- Experience working on a computer using Microsoft Office (word, excel, access), Design software (AutoCAD, Solidworks), Outlook-ability to professionally respond to interoffice communication.
- Blueprint reading and GD&T experience beneficial.
- Ability to listen to and understand and communicate information and ideas presented; communication is key in this position.
- Require an individual to be reliable, responsible, dependable and fulfill obligations.

Physical Requirements and Duties
- Ability to reach, turn, twist, and walk withstanding repeat motion throughout the work day.
- Ability to stand for the duration of a work shift.
- Ability to lift 35 lbs. at a time.
