About The Opportunity
Our client, a leading manufacturer in the specialty chemical and consumer products space, is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join their growing team. This organization produces a wide range of products including industrial cleaners, lubricants, adhesives, disinfectants, and personal care items, supporting both branded and private-label markets. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and enjoys hands-on quality work with strong visibility to operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality checks on the production floor against established specifications and standards
- Inspect production lines and components prior to startup to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Record and analyze measurement data on QC audit sheets; communicate any issues to production
- Notify management of discrepancies and assist with troubleshooting as needed
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and safety protocols
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Conduct ATP swabbing on product-contact equipment and document results
- Collect retention samples throughout manufacturing runs for quality and microbiological testing
- Collaborate with production, leadership, and QC teams to uphold quality standards
- Support a positive team culture and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
- Work overtime as needed
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; additional technical education preferred
- Experience handling hazardous materials is a plus
- Basic math and computer skills
- Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting ability
- Strong attention to detail and documentation practices
- Team-oriented with a proactive, “can-do” attitude
