Schedule

Full-time, onsite. Day shift: 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday.

Pay

$19.10 to $28.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the quality of epoxy-coated products from the beginning of the coating process through fabrication and to the point of shipment.
  • Perform various tests on products, monitor and adjust processes to ensure compliance with CRSI and ASTM standards.
  • Assure maximum efficiency of processes while following Company safety policies and best practices in the epoxy-coated rebar industry.
  • Act as department lead, ensuring team members meet job performance standards.
  • Monitor coating and production processes to ensure customer satisfaction by performing and recording various testing and observations.
  • Provide technical directions to employees regarding adjustment of procedures and equipment settings.
  • Promote a safe workplace and team environment by adhering to all Company safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and participating in Lean concepts.
  • Maintain records, update spreadsheets, revise processes as manuals and standards are updated, and document all activities.
  • Troubleshoot problems regarding the quality of coated products, provide corrective recommendations or decisions, and communicate them to the Branch Operations Manager.
  • Work with outside sources such as state and industry inspectors and representatives.
  • Direct or perform regular preventative maintenance to ensure maximum uptime of equipment and quality of coated products.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous experience with reinforcing steel and coating procedures preferred
  • Experience in quality control procedures and documentation required
  • Ability to work in a team environment and treat internal and external customers with courtesy and professionalism
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
