Responsibilities
- Perform analyses, inspections, and tests of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and tolerance specifications for chemical or physical properties.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative assays on samples to support quality control and compliance.
- Aid in the maintenance and certification of test instruments and apparatus.
- Perform required inspections, checks, analyses, and documentation of studies.
- Prepare and monitor quality statistics and reports.
- Review production records for conformance to procedures.
- Conduct non-conformance tests of manufactured, packaged, or tested products.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree and 1 year of relevant experience.
- One of the following may be substituted for the Associate’s Degree:
- NNS Apprentice School graduate.
- Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate.
- High School/GED and 2 years of related experience in Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, or Military.
- High School/GED and 4 years of non-related experience in Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, or Military.
Pay
Salary range: $49,000.00 to $62,000.00. The anticipated salary range represents the estimated base pay for this role. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
