Responsibilities

  • Perform analyses, inspections, and tests of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and tolerance specifications for chemical or physical properties.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative assays on samples to support quality control.
  • Aid in the maintenance and certification of test instruments and apparatus.
  • Perform required inspections, checks, analysis, and documentation of studies.
  • Prepare and monitor quality statistics and reports.
  • Review production records for conformance to procedures.
  • Conduct non-conformance tests of manufactured, packaged, or tested products.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree and 1 year of relevant experience.
  • One of the following may substitute for the Associate's Degree:
    • NNS Apprentice School graduate
    • Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
    • High School/GED and 2 years of related Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, or Military experience
    • High School/GED and 4 years of non-related Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, or Military experience

Pay

Salary range: $49,000.00 to $62,000.00. The anticipated range represents the estimated base pay for this role. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
