Quality Control Coordinator

Job Summary

The Quality Control Coordinator at CF Industries is responsible for ensuring ISO compliance, conducting tests, and driving continuous improvements in quality and process management. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems policies and procedures, interfacing with engineering and customers, and managing ISO standards.

Key Job Elements

• Develop, implement, communicate, and maintain quality systems policies and procedures according to the approved quality system.
• Work closely with the Laboratory supervisor on audits and site visits to review policies and procedures.
• Ensure analytical procedures for quality testing align with corporate standards.
• Collaborate with production management to address quality issues, assess site performance, and drive improvements.
• Interface with engineering, customers, and suppliers on quality-related matters.
• Implement and manage ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Quality Management Standards.
• Lead the Learning Management System (LMS) for training, including development, review, and assignment of training modules.
• Support and lead investigations for incidents, analyze data, and report near misses and errors.
• Perform laboratory duties as needed and support other special projects.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a physical science or related field required.
• 2+ years of experience in quality management systems within an industrial manufacturing environment required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Quality management training/certification (ISO or other recognized quality system).
• Knowledge of state, local, and U.S. Government regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
• Effective organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Clear communicator who builds effective partnerships and works well in a team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
