Pay

• Hourly Pay: $19.50 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $29.25 per hour
• Shift Premium: $1.00 per hour

Schedule

• 3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 10:00pm - 6:30am
• Frequent overtime assigned on Weekends with short notice

About the role

Ryder Warehouse Associates work in clean, organized, and well-run facilities to provide the safest supply chain environment. Products handled include commercial HVAC parts. Equipment used includes computers. Various warehouse fulfillment specialist roles at Ryder support distribution across the US.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 to 2 years or more in manufacturing or a fast-paced warehouse preferred
• Knowledge of inspection and control methods, techniques, and documentation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices
• Strong computer skills including QA applications, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
• Skills in math, personal computers, and spreadsheets
• Ability to follow documented procedures and standards

Responsibilities

• Apply and maintain quality requirements and standards for development and manufacturing products
• Serve as the primary Quality Assurance resource to department supervisor(s) for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting, and continuous improvement
• Execute and analyze quality-reporting measures
• Report to management on quality issues, trends, and losses
• Participate in quality audits
• Ensure product quality to meet customer, state, and federal guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned
