Key Responsibilities

  • Lead quality containment, inspection, sorting, and rework operations across multiple customer locations
  • Serve as the primary customer contact for quality performance, containment activities, and issue resolution
  • Travel to customer sites throughout Central Tennessee to support daily operations, launches, audits, and escalations
  • Manage customer concerns, corrective actions, and root cause investigations
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements, quality standards, and operational procedures
  • Analyze quality and operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Manage staffing, operational performance, labor utilization, and program profitability
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring service excellence
  • Support launch containment, customer recovery efforts, and special quality projects

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in automotive manufacturing, quality, quality containment, or production operations
  • Proven customer-facing experience managing quality issues, containment activities, and escalations
  • Strong knowledge of 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and root cause analysis methodologies
  • Experience leading containment, sorting, inspection, rework, or manufacturing teams
  • Leverage Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and reporting systems
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Central Tennessee

Preferred Qualifications

  • Automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier experience
  • Budget, cost control, or P&L management experience
  • Experience supporting launch containment and customer recovery activities
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar operational management systems
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field preferred
  • Six Sigma certification preferred
