About the role
A growing food company located near Alamosa, CO is currently searching for a Quality Assurance Manager.
Responsibilities
- Manage quality assurance processes and procedures
- Ensure compliance with FDA, regulatory, and audit standards
- Implement and maintain food safety programs and policies
- Oversee food safety audits and corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve quality systems
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in QA
- 4+ years as a QA supervisor
- Strong knowledge with FDA, Regulatory and Audit
- Knowledgeable and experienced in food safety programs and policies, to include government regulations, FDA, GFSI, HACCP, GMP, and Allergen Program
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or related field preferred
- Professional certifications in QA/QC, HACCP, or similar preferred
