About the role

The Quality Assurance Coordinator works with the Quality Assurance Manager to plan, organize, direct, and lead the personnel and work processes of the quality improvement program. This role also involves training and other assigned projects.

Responsibilities

• Monitors the development and implementation of the quality improvement program and QMC meetings for ACHC and PCAB Accreditations.
• Performs under minimal supervision with accountability for specific goals and objectives.
• Measures and evaluates attainment of results.
• Monitors and evaluates phone calls to ensure proper information, greetings, and follow-up are provided to customers.
• Performs internal audits, chart audits, and customer surveys for all departments to ensure policies and procedures are followed and work meets the highest quality standards.
• Ensures improvement activities are documented and reported within the organization and externally as appropriate.
• Responds to audits in a timely manner, addressing PBM requests.
• Facilitates quality improvement activities, develops training programs, conducts data analysis, measures outcomes, documents findings, and reports accomplishments of quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Florida Board of Pharmacy.
