About the role

My Life My Home is passionate about supporting individuals in living meaningful and satisfying lives through our eight Community Integrated Living Arrangements (CILA) across St. Clair and Clinton Counties in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supports to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Train, coach, and supervise Direct Support Professionals to ensure high-quality individualized care.
• Affirm compliance with current standards of practice, company policies and procedures, safety, Federal and State regulations.
• Support the organization’s mission in interactions with residents, team members, vendors, and community members.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience working directly with individuals with a developmental disability.
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Special Education, Psychology, or a closely related human services field, or a licensed Registered Nurse.
• Prefer at least 1 year of management experience and 1 year of certified Direct Support Professional (DSP) experience.
• Must be 21 years or older and hold a valid driver's license with fewer than 3 driving offenses.
• Criminal background check and physical examination required.

• Must pass a reading and comprehension quiz.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Knowledge of developmental disabilities and relevant laws and regulations.

$61,000 plus.
