QC Aggregate Gradation Tech

About the role

The Aggregate Gradation Technician is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate completion of aggregate gradation samples taken from our various production facilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety while working within the lab using ovens, hotplates, and material washers/shakers.
• Utilize various hand tools including brushes, scrapers, and dowel rods while maintaining lab equipment.
• Maintain a high level of organization and take a proactive approach to improving lab cleanliness.
• Complete gradations (aggregate particulate size summary) in a timely, effective manner.
• Maintain lab equipment cleanliness including the sample buckets, Mary-Ann Shakers, and Ploog Material Washer.
• Punctuality is a must.
• Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic Microsoft skills including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Skills

• Basic math skills (including Algebra).
