About the role
The Aggregate Gradation Technician is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate completion of aggregate gradation samples taken from our various production facilities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain safety while working within the lab using ovens, hotplates, and material washers/shakers.
- Utilize various hand tools including brushes, scrapers, and dowel rods while maintaining lab equipment.
- Maintain a high level of organization and take a proactive approach to improving lab cleanliness.
- Complete gradations (aggregate particulate size summary) in a timely, effective manner.
- Maintain lab equipment cleanliness including the sample buckets, Mary-Ann Shakers, and Ploog Material Washer.
- Punctuality is a must.
- Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic Microsoft skills including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Skills
- Basic math skills (including Algebra).
