ManagementFull-time

Senneca Holdings is a diversified specialty door manufacturer with six major production facilities throughout the United States. Our production facility in Redmond, Oregon rotationally molds and assembles double acting traffic doors, extrudes flexible PVC roll goods, and assembles PVC strip curtains.

About the role

This role requires a detail-oriented, safety-minded, and adaptable individual capable of reviewing work orders, verifying specifications, and building product accurately in a high-volume, high-variety environment. The PVC Strip Curtain Assembler works individually at their station but is part of a close-knit, 8-person team that relies on flexibility, communication, and willingness to cross-train to meet daily production demands.

No prior machine experience is required; all training is provided. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and wants to learn multiple processes rather than repeat the same task each day.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble PVC strip curtains according to work order specifications, drawings, and BOMs.
  • Operate multiple production machines (training provided), including:
    • RF (Radio Frequency) welding machines for door and curtain edge sealing.
    • Automated PVC strip pull/punch machines.
    • Cut-to-length systems and manual assembly tools.
  • Ensure accurate setup, material selection, strip layout, and curtain configuration prior to production.
  • Perform basic machine checks, part changes, and process adjustments following training and standard work.
  • Review job paperwork methodically to verify sizes, materials, hole patterns, strip types, hardware requirements, and order details.
  • Inspect completed product for accuracy, weld quality, cleanliness, spacing, and alignment.
  • Report discrepancies, unclear work orders, or material issues immediately to the supervisor or team lead.
  • Maintain documentation of completed jobs as required.
  • Cross-train across multiple stations (RF weld, strip machine, assembly tables, inspection) to support production flow and daily demand.
  • Communicate openly with team members to shift priorities and help where needed.
  • Support teammates during high-volume periods by jumping in on urgent orders or bottleneck areas.
  • Participate in daily team huddles and continuous improvement discussions.

Requirements

  • Follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements, machine operating rules, and safe lifting techniques.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation aligned with 5S principles.
  • Identify and report safety hazards, equipment issues, or process risks promptly.
  • Handle materials, tools, and machines with care to prevent injuries or product damage.
