Job Summary

- Assemble electrical control panels by mounting components such as circuit breakers, relays, contactors, and other electrical devices. - Cut, strip, and terminate wires to appropriate terminals and connectors. - Install wiring harnesses and cable assemblies. - Wire control panels according to electrical schematics and wiring diagrams and ensure proper wire routing and termination to meet industry standards and safety regulations. - Perform functional tests on completed panels to verify correct operation. - Troubleshoot and resolve wiring errors or malfunctions, and use testing equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes to diagnose issues. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of panel wiring and testing procedures, and complete necessary paperwork and quality control checks.

Qualifications

- Prior experience in electrical panel wiring required. - Strong understanding of electrical theory and principles. - Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. - Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. - Attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - High School Diploma or GED. - OSHA 30 hour or ability to obtain. - Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, drug test, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
