About the Role

The Purchasing & Warehouse Coordinator position is available for a glass manufacturing facility in Toledo, OH. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for an experienced purchasing, inventory, or warehouse professional.

Responsibilities

• Purchase orders, vendor follow-up, order confirmations, and purchasing documentation
• Vendor communication regarding pricing, lead times, order status, shortages, substitutions, and delivery schedules
• Vendor records, item information, and purchasing documentation
• Material flow support to ensure products and supplies are available when needed
• Scheduling and deliveries with vendors, customers, and supply chain partners
• Communication between purchasing, receiving, warehouse, production, and customer service teams

Requirements

• Previous purchasing, receiving, inventory, warehouse, or manufacturing support experience
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Communication with vendors, suppliers, carriers, and internal teams
• Basic computer skills including email, spreadsheets, inventory systems, and document management
• Forklift experience preferred; willingness to complete training if needed
• Ability to work independently, solve problems, and communicate issues appropriately
• Ability to work in both office and warehouse environments
