Description Position Summary The Purchasing and Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for procuring materials and supplies, managing inventory, tracking supplier deliveries, receiving incoming materials, verifying documentation and certifications, and supporting warehouse operations. This role utilizes SAP to manage purchasing, receiving, and inventory transactions while ensuring inventory accuracy and timely material availability. Requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities Create and issue purchase orders in SAP for materials, supplies, and services. Track and manage open purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery. Communicate with suppliers concerning delivery schedules, shortages, and discrepancies. Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment activities. Perform inventory cycle counts and help maintain inventory accuracy. Receive incoming materials and verify quantities against packing lists and purchase orders. Inspect shipments for damage, shortages, or nonconforming materials. Enter and maintain receiving, inventory, and purchasing transactions in SAP. Review and verify Certificates of Conformance (CoCs) and other required supplier documentation. Ensure certifications and quality documents are properly maintained and distributed internally. Coordinate material storage, movement, and organization within the warehouse. Safely unload trucks and move materials using a forklift when required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Generate purchasing and inventory reports and support continuous improvement initiatives. Compare supplied parts with drawing / blueprint to confirm accuracy. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred. 2-5 years of purchasing, inventory control, receiving, or warehouse experience preferred. Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems. Knowledge of inventory management, purchasing, receiving, and warehouse operations. Ability to review packing slips, purchase orders, and quality documentation accurately. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday. Ability to safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
