Purchasing Coordinator

Responsibilities
Inventory Planning and Management: Develop and implement effective strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels
Purchase Order Management: Place and manage all purchase orders (POs) daily to ensure accurate entry, proofing, and maintenance
External Collaboration: Provide regular updates to fulfillment partners on inventory status, potential risks, and new opportunities
Process Improvement: Implement best practices and innovative solutions to ensure the purchasing process is efficient and scalable
Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis and forecasting techniques to identify trends and make informed decisions on optimal reorder points
Inventory Monitoring: Monitor inventory levels daily and make timely adjustments to meet changing conditions
Performance Reporting: Analyze and report on inventory performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving solutions
Audits: Partner with fulfillment partners to request regular audits to maintain inventory accuracy and identify potential discrepancies
Internal Collaboration: Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve overall business performance, work closely with systems analyst to troubleshoot issues
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree
Proven 1+ years of experience in procurement and inventory management, preferably in a high-growth environment
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Positive attitude and team-oriented mentality with excellent collaboration skills
Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational skills
Skills
Expertise in Excel
Familiarity with inventory management & forecasting systems, Tableau experience is a plus

Pay
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is: $55,000/year - $90,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations. For Colorado, the salary range is: $60,000 - $85,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. This salary range is a good faith estimate of what Vetcove may pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, qualifications, and experience.
