About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to serve as the operational backbone of our supply chain in our Huntington Station office. This role requires a unique blend of logistical precision, owning the end-to-end lifecycle of purchase orders and software licensing, and collaborative problem-solving to resolve vendor discrepancies.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a departmental liaison with daily interaction with Sales, Pricing, Warehouse, Field Technicians, and Technical Support to ensure everyone has the tools they need.
- Own the full lifecycle of purchase orders, from initial requisition to verifying vendor invoices and credits.
- Manage and maintain all aspects of software orders and licensing certificates with high attention to detail.
- Contact suppliers to expedite deliveries and resolve shortages, missed shipments, or invoice discrepancies.
- Maintain real-time accuracy in our tracking systems for all contracts and deliveries.
- Support the department with unique procurement challenges as the business evolves.
Requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail and a completionist mindset—you don't leave tasks half-finished.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- SAP B1 experience is a significant plus.
- The ability to communicate professionally with external vendors and internal stakeholders alike.
- A proactive attitude and the capacity to adapt quickly in an evolving environment.
- Willing and able to work onsite five days per week in Huntington, Long Island, NY.

Pay
Salary Range: $50,000 – $60,000
