About the role

We are Hiring! Catholic Charities Family and Community Services (CCFCS) is a regional agency serving our community for over 100 years. We walk with people as they journey toward independence, advocate for those in need, and work in partnership with faith communities. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $22.00-$23.00 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

  • Processes purchase requisitions and prepares Purchase Orders with suppliers
  • Tracks order status and reviews invoices for discrepancies
  • Identifies and documents opportunities to improve purchasing policies and procedures
  • Serves as a liaison between program staff and finance staff
  • Maintains departmental standard operating procedures and databases
  • Supports Agency meetings and trainings
  • Develops professional competencies related to job role performance

Requirements

  • A minimum of Associate’s Degree in Business or Accounting disciplines
  • Credentials: CPM / CPSM professional certification preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Purchasing/Supply Chain, Business, or Accounting
  • Practical knowledge of general purchasing/accounting software applications
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, and written/oral communication skills
