About the Role
Coordinates purchasing and pricing information management of processes, including costing, ensuring system data integrity, mediating field/trade communications, and assisting in the development of housing budgets.
Responsibilities
- Procurement and analysis of bids/pricing from the Brohn vendor base for both new and existing products, including all associated data entry and maintenance.
- Change order/selection sheet processing and preparation of start pack materials, including blueprints and plot plans.
- Analyze and compare various vendor pricing.
- Analyze takeoff requests from field area managers.
- Data entry and maintenance for all Brohn budgetary items.
- Perform ongoing detailed cost analysis across the entire Brohn product line.
- Work with the Brohn vendor base on all product changes.
- Analyze reports to identify improvements for costing purposes.
- Adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands, and adjust methods to fit situations.
- Synthesize complex or diverse information, collect and research data, and use intuition and experience to complement data.
- Design workflows and procedures.
- Undertake self-development activities and seek increased responsibilities.
- Make decisions, exhibit sound judgment, and support reasoning for decisions.
- Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gather and analyze information, and develop alternative solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (BA) from a four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Analytical skills with a data analyst skillset.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail while maintaining sight of the overall objective.
- Ability to plan and organize.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Current personal computer knowledge.
- Ability to exercise excellent judgment.
- Ability to collaborate with team members and across departments.
- Strong mathematical aptitude with proficiency in working with numbers.
- Ability to convey information clearly and concisely to internal and external customers.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment.
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Schedule
This is a full-time, exempt position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. This position may work outside of normal business hours to include evenings and weekends as needed.
Travel
Less than 10% travel is expected for this position.
