Starting rate: $23.50/hour (non-negotiable). A 6-month probationary period applies. Pay increases are based on length of service, advancement, and contractual factors. This position is represented by the AFSCME union.

About the Role

Operate light to heavy equipment to maintain City streets, collect solid waste, and operate and maintain water, sanitary, and stormwater systems.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
  • CDL Endorsement B with Air Brake endorsement
  • CDL A endorsement within 6 months of hire
  • Previous experience in road maintenance, underground utility construction, or landscape construction
