About the role
The Town of Jackson is seeking a qualified, motivated professional to serve the community as a combination Street Operator and Meter Reader.
Responsibilities
- Meter reading, installation, repair, and maintenance
- Backflow prevention work
- Data entry associated with meter reading operations
- Snow removal operations including plowing, hauling, heavy equipment operation, and street sweeping
Requirements
- Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying
- High School graduation or equivalent
- Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or ability to obtain within 3 months
