Public Works Street / Equipment Operator

Pay

Hiring range: $62,400 – $73,000 annually ($30–$35 per hour DOQ). Full salary range based on longevity: Street Operator $30–$38 per hour; Equipment Operator $30–$40.50 per hour.

Schedule

Full‑time, year‑round positions.

Responsibilities

• Snow removal operations during winter months.
• Street repair, crosswalk/curb and gutter painting.
• Weed abatement and general maintenance during summer months.
• Compliance with the federally mandated DOT‑FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program (pre‑employment, reasonable suspicion, post‑accident, and random testing).

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• Wyoming Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Experience as an equipment operator or in snow removal operations.
• Any combination of education and experience that provides the required skill and knowledge.
