Responsibilities

• Manage and direct all aspects of investigations and/or criminal offenses occurring on, but not limited to, the dark web (e.g., illegal narcotic transactions, cell phone activity, drug trafficking, bulk cash smuggling, drug cartel activity, etc.)
• Oversee formulation and direct implementation of plans, policies, and procedures for analyzing and disseminating time-sensitive event or disaster information to state, local, and federal emergency response, law enforcement, and other officials
• Establish priorities and manage the information and intelligence gathering for situational awareness reports
• Write and submit reports, bulletins, and technical evaluations to leadership and partners in Ohio's public safety communities
• Oversee and coordinate policies developed to ensure consistency and efficiency

Requirements

Option 1: 48 months of experience conducting research and writing reports using operational, mathematical, analytical, and/or statistical research techniques.

Option 2: Completion of a graduate core program in homeland security, political science, criminal justice, emergency management, public health, international affairs, or a related field; AND 12 months of experience conducting research and writing reports using operational, mathematical, analytical, and/or statistical research techniques.

Option 3: 12 months of experience as a Public Safety Intelligence Analyst, 64931, or equivalent of the Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
