About the role
We are seeking a creative and results-oriented Public Relations Account Executive to join our dynamic team. This position involves pursuing and securing media opportunities for both B2B and B2C clients, building strong relationships with media contacts, and generating creative ideas to drive client PR/social media programs.
Responsibilities
- Pursuing and securing a consistent stream of media opportunities (trade, consumer, business media, top-tier, etc.) for B2B and B2C clients
- Building and nurturing strong relationships with media contacts
- Drafting pitches, bylines and other client deliverables that zero in on client messaging and drive results
- Generating creative ideas to help drive client PR/social media programs; proactively offering recommendations and ideas to the program and sharing recommendations with clients on how to use national news, industry news and trends to impact their programs
- Mentoring and managing junior team members’ involvement in projects and initiatives
- Participating in new business opportunities – i.e. assisting with research, creation of media playbooks or SOV analyses, etc.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant business experience
- 2-3 years of post-college PR agency experience, preferably working with B2B tech clients
- A strong understanding of the media landscape and a desire to drive media relations results across all accounts
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work in a fast-moving, dynamic, and team-oriented environment
- A fast learner with an inquisitive mind and eye for detail
- Adaptable, dependable, and promotes a positive work environment
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously
- Experience in public relations, social media, and/or creative services
- Knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms
Skills
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay
The salary range for this role is $60,000–$65,000, depending on experience.
Schedule
This role is hybrid, requiring in-office attendance on Monday through Thursday in Newburyport, MA; Providence, RI; Dallas, TX; Rochester, NY; and Denver, CO.
