Responsibilities

  • Join us as a Public Health Nurse (PHN) at the Bethel Public Health Clinic and make a significant impact on community health.
  • Work at the Public Health Center and may travel to nearby areas to provide necessary nursing services as a PHN 2.
  • Collaborate with individuals, families, and organizations to support public health initiatives as a PHN 3.
  • Deliver essential health services and interventions.

Qualifications

  • Eligibility for licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Alaska.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university or Direct Entry Master of Science (MSN) in Nursing from an accredited college or university.

Pay

The wage for this position increased by 3% effective July 1, 2026. The wage listed in this job posting reflects the increase.

Schedule

You’ll have the opportunity to work in Bethel, a unique and remote Alaskan community that serves as the hub for roughly 50 surrounding villages.
