Responsibilities

  • Health screenings and preventive care
  • Infectious disease monitoring and treatment
  • Community health assessments and improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • A valid Driver's License is required at the time of appointment.
  • Alaska Registered Nurse License
  • Current CPR Certification

Qualifications

  • Competencies in Adaptability, Self-Management, Analytical Thinking/Problem Solving, Interpersonal Skills, Partnering, and Analysis and Assessment.

Skills

  • Knowledge of public health concepts, principles, theories, methods, and tools.
  • Experience in public health, community health, international health, and/or occupational health nursing.

Pay

The wage for this position increased by 3% effective July 1, 2026. The wage listed in this job posting reflects the increase.
