About the role
Ralph Lauren Corporation is seeking enthusiastic and experienced individuals to join our Sales Ambassador team. As a Sales Ambassador, you will be responsible for curating exceptional lifestyle experiences for our clients, leveraging your expertise to nurture lasting personal connections and exceed sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding customer needs and showcasing detailed product knowledge.
- Strategize personal business growth to boost individual productivity through comprehensive wardrobing and successful outreach.
- Leverage digital tools to enhance clienteling and drive sales achievement.
- Support the team in achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans by collaborating with the team to uphold standards of excellence.
- Develop genuine connections with customers while advising them on product recommendations that align with their preferences.
- Understand sales goals and objectives and consistently meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Adapt and showcase product recommendations differently based on whether a customer is remote or in-person, demonstrating flexibility based on customer needs.
- Utilize tools like Polo connect to capture meaningful customer data for clienteling and additional business initiatives.
- Participate in store and company initiatives and community outreach.
- Balance tasks while prioritizing the Ralph Lauren experience, ensuring the customer experience is always a priority.
- Provide necessary feedback to Management on category opportunities or needs.
- Maintain store visual standards and use visual techniques and company guidelines to ensure compliance.
- Support a professional and positive work environment, champion company core values, and collaborate with colleagues to contribute to a cohesive and inclusive team environment.
- Engage in networking and sourcing talent to support the store and team in finding top talent.
Requirements
- Salary range: $15.95 - $22.05 hourly.
- Preferred sales experience in a complex, high-volume or high-profile specialty environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store personnel.
- Ability to maneuver around the sales floor, stock/dressing room, cashwrap, and office; work around/with chemicals.
- Ability to lift/climb up to 30 lbs. and climb moderately.
- Ability to operate the register, stand, move, and walk for multiple hours.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which may require day, evening, and weekend shifts.
- Experience selling to customers using digital tools is preferred.
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for fashion are essential. Proficiency in digital tools and a proactive approach to customer service are also highly valued.
