About the Role

As a Lane Inspector, you serve as a vital frontline contributor to environmental health. You are responsible for performing vehicle emissions testing to identify polluting vehicles and ensure compliance with emission standards.

Responsibilities

• Execute vehicle emissions inspections and exhaust analysis using specialized equipment according to established procedures.
• Accurately enter and verify vehicle information within the computer system.
• Safely operate customer vehicles during the testing process.
• Direct motorists through the station, explain test results, provide instructions on next steps, and process inspection fees.
• Coordinate general janitorial upkeep to ensure a clean, professional environment.
• Adhere strictly to company policies, procedures, and state contractual obligations.
• Provide assistance to other stations within the district as needed to ensure the success of the broader network operations.
• Other duties as assigned by the management team.
