Construction Inspector

About the role

Responsible for inspecting construction sites to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations. Conducts inspections, reviews plans, and provides recommendations for improvement.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction sites to ensure adherence to building codes and safety regulations.
• Review construction plans and specifications for compliance with local and state regulations.
• Provide recommendations for improving safety and compliance at construction sites.
• Document findings and communicate issues to project managers and clients.
• Participate in meetings with contractors and clients to discuss inspection results and plan next steps.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction inspection or related field.
• Knowledge of local and state building codes and safety regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel to various construction sites within the region.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or similar drafting software.

Pay
